On this day, Rohit became the first cricketer to reach the milestone of 600 sixes in international cricket. In 499 innings, his sixes now total exactly 600. West Indies star Chris Gayle is in second place with 553 sixes in 551 innings.

Rohit became the third batsman to complete 4,000 runs in T20 cricket. In 144 innings, his runs now total 4,026. His teammate Virat Kohli is at the top with 4,038 runs in 110 innings. Pakistan captain Babar Azam is third with 4,023 runs in 112 innings.

Rohit has also completed 1,000 runs in the T20 World Cup. Here too, he is third. Kohli tops this list with 1,142 runs in 26 innings. Former Sri Lankan batsman Mahela Jayawardene is second with 1,016 runs in 31 innings. Rohit’s runs in 37 innings total 1,015.

The 37-year-old Rohit is the second batsman to score at least 4,000 runs in all three formats. The first is another Indian, Virat Kohli.
