Venues for the 2027 World Cup is selected. South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia will host the 2027 One Day World Cup on their fields. Three years before the tournament begins, South Africa’s 8 venues have been confirmed. Cricket South Africa’s CEO, Foletose Moseki , has confirmed this news.
Moseki told African News 24 website, ‘Scientific’ reasons have led to the selection of eight venues in South Africa. Factors such as distance from airports and hotel room availability have been considered.
The regular Test venues in South Africa will host the matches:
Wanderers in Johannesburg, SuperSport Park in Centurion, Newlands in Cape Town, Kingsmead in Durban, and St. George’s Park in Port Elizabeth. Besides these, the other venues are Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein, Boland Park in Paarl, and Buffalo Park in East London.
