Uganda Cricket Team has announced a 15-member squad

On June 1’st , the ICC Under-20 World Cup will kick off in the United States and the Caribbean islands.

For the first time in this edition, Uganda will participate. They have announced a 15-member squad for this global tournament. Brian Masaba will lead Uganda in the upcoming World Cup, with Riazat Ali Shah serving as vice-captain.

Notably, 43-year-old Frank Nsubuga has secured a place in the World Cup squad.

Uganda is in Group C for the World Cup, where they will face West Indies, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and Afghanistan.

Brian Masaba (Captain), Simon Ssesazi, Rogers Mukasa, Cosmas Kyewuta, Dinesh Nakrani, Fred Achelam, Kenneth Waiswa, Olpesh Ramzan, Frank Nsubuga, Henry Ssenyondo, Bilal Hassun, Robinson Obuya, Riazat Ali Shah (VC), Juma Miyaji, and Ronak Patel.

Reserves: Ronald Lutaaya, Innocent Mehjaba.
