In preparation for the ICC Champions Trophy, a tri-nation series featuring Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa will take place in Pakistan. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released the schedule for the series, set to run from February 8 to February 14.
The first two matches of the league stage will be held at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, while the final league match and the series final will be hosted at Karachi’s National Bank Stadium. Each team will face the others once during the league stage, with the top two teams advancing to the final.
The series opener on February 8 will see Pakistan playing against New Zealand, followed by New Zealand taking on South Africa on February 10 in Lahore.
The league stage concludes on February 12, with Pakistan going up against South Africa. The final match is scheduled for February 14 in Karachi. All matches will be day-night fixtures, starting at 2 PM local time.
The tri-nation series is expected to serve as a valuable preparation platform for the ICC Champions Trophy, which is set to begin on February 19 in Pakistan and the UAE.
