Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma played the opening position for India in CWC 2019. It’s needless to say that he showed absolute dedication throughout the tournament. With his batting charisma, Rohit Shamra scored Five Centuries and maintained an average of 81 runs. He finished the tournament as the top scorer of CWC 2019 with 648 runs. 

David Warner

Despite losing the semi-finals of CWC 2019, David Warner had an incredible tournament. He scored 647, just one run short of Rohit Sharma, with a batting average of 71.88 runs. In terms of milestones, David Warner bagged Three Centuries and Fifties. After a loss to the team England, Australia dropped out from the Semi-Finals of CWC 2019. 

Shakib Al Hasan

With only eight innings played, Shakib Al Hasan managed to score 606 runs in that tournament. Statistically, the Bangladeshi All-Rounder had the highest batting average of 86.57 in CWC 2019. Even though his team couldn’t live up to the expectations, Shakib left the tournament with Two Centuries and Five Fifties in his pocket. 

Kane Williamson

Kane Williamson, captain of the Blackcaps for the upcoming CWC 2023, finished fourth among batters in the 2019 CWC. In 9 innings, Kane scored 578 runs with a batting average of 74.96 runs. His Two Centuries and Fifties played a critical role for the Kiwis in the tournament.  

Joseph Edward Root

The British Top Order batter Joseph Edward Root finished 5th in the CWC 2019 Batting order. In the tournament, Joseph collected 556 runs with an average of 61.77. In 11 innings, Joe claimed Two Centuries and Five Fifties. Though 5th in the Batting order, his team did finish at the top of CWC 2019.
