3rd ODI at The Kia Oval: In the 3rd Day and Night ODI, team England won by a massive margin of 181 runs. A supreme bowling performance by Chris Woakes and Reece Topley packed New Zealand in the sub-200 runs mark. Additionally, Ben Stokes obtained the Player of The Match for his incredible 181 runs innings.
4th ODI at Lord’s: In this series-winning attempt at Lord’s Cricket Ground, England scored 311 for the Kiwis to chase. However, The Kiwis only scored 211 as Moeen Ali’s 4-wicket haul swept through the Kiwi batting lineup.
5th ODI at Lord’s: At this grand showdown of the Cricket World Cup 2019 final, England and New Zealand faced off to secure the champion’s title. When their score evened at 241, the infamous Super Over rule came into the equation. However, New Zealand fell short of 1 run in the Super Over while chasing the 16 runs target given by England. At this very nerve-wracking grand finale, England crowned itself as the champion of CWC ’19.
