The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Cricket 2024 will be held in Bangladesh

A representative team of Bangladesh women cricketers met with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her official residence, Ganabhaban, on Sunday, May 5. The team will participate in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Cricket 2024.

The representative team includes Youth and Sports Minister Nazmul Hasan, Chief Executive Officer Geoff Allardice of the ICC, Captain of the Bangladesh National Women’s Cricket Team Nigar Sultana, and Captain of the Indian National Women’s Cricket Team Harmanpreet Kaur.

The Prime Minister’s Deputy Press Secretary, KM Shakhawat Moon, said in a briefing that the Prime Minister participated in a photo session with the representative team.

The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Cricket 2024 will be held in Bangladesh from October 3 to October 20.

Ten countries, including Bangladesh, the current champion Australia, England, and India, will participate in the tournament.

Bangladesh is hosting this tournament for the second time. Earlier, Bangladesh hosted the tournament in 2014.
