The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is set to begin on December 30, with the final scheduled for February 7. The dates for the BPL’s 11th season have been finalized, with the tournament set to kick off on December 30 and the final match slated for February 7 next year.
These decisions were made at the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) meeting on Wednesday. The BCB is implementing a full e-ticketing system for this season’s tournament. A total of 7 teams, including three new franchises, will participate in this year’s BPL.
Additionally, in a press release issued after the board’s fifth meeting, led by Faruk Ahmed, it was announced that the membership of 11 board directors has been revoked, including former president Nazmul Hassan. Besides this, the resignations of three directors were accepted, and following the death of Alamgir Hossain, a total of 15 director positions have been vacated.
