The Lords cricket stadium is poised for its second major development in three years, as the plan has been approved by MCC members.
With a budget of Euro 61.8 million (621.9 crore INR), which was put to the Club’s 18,000-strong membership at its AGM last week, the development aims to provide improved catering, hospitality, and accessibility.
Additionally, it will increase the overall ground capacity by an additional 1100 seats.
Construction is expected to begin in September, at the end of the current season, and be completed in 2027. Will be on hold for the 25-26
