The BPL Mascot ‘DANA 36’ Unveiled

The mascot for the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) has been designed in remembrance of the student uprising and has been named ‘DANA 36’.

This information was disclosed by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Wednesday (November 13).

As a symbol of peace, the mascot features an elegantly decorated dove. The BPL mascot has been presented as an emblem of resilience symbolizing freedom and the spirit of sports.

With wings spread wide and a confident, joyful smile, the dove holds a cricket bat adorned with graffiti art. The colorful graffiti pattern on its feathers and bat represents themes of freedom, positive energy, and cultural pride.

This dove mascot has been designed to align with the spirit of freedom, which is an essential part of sports and a central theme of cricket culture. The dove is seen as a symbol of peace and resilience, reflecting the strength and unity of a nation.

The upcoming BPL season will commence on December 30 and conclude on February 7. Seven teams are participating in this season.
