In the Test Championship table, India has advanced by winning the Test series against England in Ranchi. According to the latest ICC update, Rohit Sharma’s team has surpassed New Zealand to claim the top spot. NewZealand’s defeat to the Aussie has left them disappointed.
Previously, India had 62 points after eight matches. By winning the series and New Zealand’s loss, Rohit’s team has surged ahead to 64.58 points, placing them at the top. However, the team’s points difference remains two. India has won five out of their last eight matches, lost two, and drawn one.
Before the match in Wellington against New Zealand, the Kiwis were at the top with 36 points and a percentage of 75. But with a massive margin of 172 runs at home, the champions of the first season lost their top spot. Their percentage dropped to 60, positioning them in second place.
Australia, after playing 11 matches, is currently in third place. They have won seven matches, lost three, and drawn one. The team’s points percentage stands at 59.09.
So far this season, Bangladesh has played two matches against New Zealand and is positioned fourth in the table. The Tigers won one and lost one match, without any draws, accumulating 12 points with a percentage of 50.
