T20 World Cup Groups & Venues

T20 World Cup Will Star from June 2’nd.

Groupings of the 20 Teams in the First Round:

Group A: Canada, India (A1), Ireland, Pakistan (A2), United States

Group B: Australia (B2), England (B1), Namibia, Oman, Scotland

Group C: Afghanistan, New Zealand (C1), Papua New Guinea, Uganda, West Indies (C2)

Group D: Bangladesh, Nepal, Netherlands, South Africa (D1), Sri Lanka (D2)

This is the first time an ICC event is being held in the United States. Out of a total of 55 matches, 16 will be held in three cities here. The matches will take place at Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium in Florida (with a capacity of 40,000), Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York (with a capacity of 34,000), and Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas (with a capacity of 15,000).

Among these, the stadium in New York has been specially prepared for the World Cup, with a pitch brought in from Adelaide, Australia, and some temporary seating added to the stands. Meanwhile, most of the matches will be held across six venues in the West Indies.

The venues in the Caribbean are:

Antigua and Barbuda: Sir Vivian Richards Stadium (capacity 10,000)

Barbados: Kensington Oval (capacity 28,000)

Guyana: Providence Stadium (capacity 20,000)

Saint Lucia: Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium (capacity 15,000)

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines: Arnos Vale Playing Field (capacity 18,000)

Trinidad and Tobago: Brian Lara Cricket Academy (capacity 15,000)
