Schedule Announced for Youth Tri-Nation Series with Africa and Zimbabwe

As part of their preparations for the 2026 ICC U-19 World Cup, the Bangladesh Under-19 cricket team is set to participate in a tri-nation series.

The series, to be held in Zimbabwe, will see the young Tigers face off against hosts Zimbabwe and the strong South Africa U-19 team. A total of 9 matches will be played in a round-robin league format, where each team will face the others three times. The top two teams from the points table will meet in the final.

The tri-nation tournament will kick off on 25 July. In the opening match at Sunrise Sports Club, Zimbabwe will take on South Africa. Bangladesh will begin their campaign the following day (26 July) at the same venue, facing South Africa. Bangladesh’s second match will be on 28 July against Zimbabwe, to be held at Harare Sports Club.

Each match will begin at 1:15 PM Bangladesh Time. The final match is scheduled for 10 August, marking the end of the 16-day-long series.

Note:
The 2026 ICC U-19 Men’s World Cup will be jointly hosted by Zimbabwe and Namibia. Apart from hosts Zimbabwe, the 10 full-member nations that participated in the 2024 edition have also secured their places: Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, Ireland, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and West Indies. The remaining 5 teams will qualify through continental qualification tournaments.
