Rohit Sharma wants to play Test matches against Pakistan

What is the biggest battle in cricket? Most answers will come with India-Pakistan matches.

However, these two teams have not faced each other in any ICC or ACC event for the past 17 years. That means cricket lovers have to wait eagerly to see this match. In November 2007, Pakistan played a five-match ODI series in India. India won that series 3-2.

There has been a ban on matches against Pakistan before. Even though other countries have started series there, no one has taken the initiative for a bilateral series between themselves.

However, India’s captain Rohit Sharma wants to play bilateral series with Pakistan. Especially in the Test format.

Recently, in a podcast called “Clubhouse Fires,” former England captain Michael Vaughan asked Rohit, ‘Don’t you think regular matches against Pakistan would be great for Test cricket?’ Rohit’s response was indicative. ‘I completely believe in that. They (Pakistan) are a good team.’

Pakistan is considered one of the best pace attacking teams in the world. Rohit agrees with that. And he has also hinted at the experience of playing in Pakistan. ‘Their fantastic bowling line-up is there. In my opinion, it will be a very good competition. Especially if you play in foreign conditions.’
