Rabada Reaches 300 Test Wickets Milestone
Kagiso Rabada of South Africa has reached the milestone of 300 wickets in Test cricket. On Monday, in the Mirpur Test, he claimed the wicket of Mushfiqur Rahim to achieve his 300th wicket in the longer format.
Rabada is the sixth South African bowler to take at least 300 Test wickets, and he also set a world record. He surpassed Pakistan legend Waqar Younis to become the fastest bowler in terms of deliveries bowled to reach 300 Test wickets.
Waqar reached this milestone after bowling 12,602 balls, while Rabada achieved it in just 11,817 balls — 785 fewer. Among bowlers with at least 300 Test wickets, Rabada is the only one with a strike rate under 40.
