In the One Day International (ODI) all-rounder rankings, Mohammad Nabi from Afghanistan has claimed the top position. He has surpassed Bangladesh’s all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan to become the number one all-rounder in the ICC’s ODI all-rounder rankings. Nabi’s rating points as an all-rounder are 314.
Currently, Shakib holds the second position with 310 rating points. Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza is placed third with 288 rating points. Rashid Khan from Afghanistan and Asad Vala from Papua New Guinea hold the fourth and fifth positions respectively.
Over the past five years, Shakib has been leading the all-rounders in ODI cricket. However, due to injuries and busy schedules post the World Cup, Bangladesh’s top all-rounder has been unable to focus on cricket.
At the same time, Nabi has been delivering outstanding performances for the Afghan team, both with bat and ball. As a result, Nabi has taken over the leadership from Shakib in the ODI all-rounder rankings after a long five-year reign.
