Amir further explained that playing for Pakistan holds the highest priority for him. Before this, Amir had hinted at breaking his retirement multiple times, sometimes pointing fingers at team management, coaching staff, sometimes the board, and sometimes the captain. Many believe that Babar Azam’s resignation from captaincy has paved the way for Imad Amir’s return.
