For this ongoing BPL, Barisal has formed a team with big names. Alongside Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim, and Mahmudullah Riyad, Soumya Sarkar and Mehedi Hasan Miraz are also in the squad. Yet, Barisal’s name is not at the top of the points table in BPL. So far, the team has failed to show its full potential. The team is not consistent in form either. Coming into the final stages of BPL, they aim to strengthen themselves. This time, the focus is on the overseas stars.
Previously, Barisal has attracted foreign stars to its team as well. Shoaib Malik and Ahmed Shehzad were their main weapons. However, some new star cricketers are also coming in. Especially after the conclusion of the South Africa T20 and IPL T20 leagues, every team in BPL is keen to add new players.
David Miller is at the top of everyone’s interest list in that regard. The buzz has been around, Miller is joining Barisal’s red camp. Barisal’s owner Mizanur Rahman said yesterday that this hard-hitter will play for Barisal in the last 3-4 matches.
