ICC has finalized the schedule for the teams’ warm-up matches

Before the start of the World Cup, teams take to the field for warm-up matches to fine-tune themselves one last time. However, the opponents for these matches are determined by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

The ninth edition of the T20 World Cup will be held in the USA and the West Indies from June 1. The ICC has finalized the schedule for the teams’ warm-up matches before the World Cup.

The warm-up matches will begin on May 27. On the first day, Canada will play against Nepal, Oman will face Papua New Guinea, and Namibia will compete against Uganda.

On May 28, Bangladesh will play against the host, the United States. However, before that, the Tigers will play a three-match T20 series against the USA on May 21, 23, and 25.

In other matches on the 28th, Sri Lanka will play against the Netherlands, and Australia will compete against Namibia. On May 29, in the only warm-up match of the day, Afghanistan will play against Oman. The warm-up matches will continue until June 1.

England and New Zealand will not play any warm-up matches this time.
