Today at Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati, Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to Bat first. After a strong opening performance by the Sri Lankan opener Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Perera, the target was set at 263 runs. Decent bowling and fielding performance from the Bangladeshi side helped tighten the robust Sri Lankan side sooner than unexpected.

However, Shakib Al Hasan Kusal Perera’s injury raises similar concerns at both camps.
