Bangladesh has taught Pakistan how to bat and bowl

Bangladesh has already secured the T20I series by winning the first two matches against Pakistan. This marks the Tigers’ first-ever T20I series victory over Pakistan.

Following this loss, the visiting Pakistan team is facing criticism from former cricketers. One such voice is that of former cricketer Ramiz Raja, who remarked that Bangladesh has taught Pakistan how to bat and bowl.

On Tuesday at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, Bangladesh clinched the series with a thrilling 8-run victory. With this win, the Tigers now have a golden opportunity to whitewash Pakistan.

Former Pakistan captain and ex-PCB chairman Ramiz Raja said, “On a difficult pitch, Bangladesh has shown Pakistan how to bat and bowl.” He made this comment on his YouTube channel ‘Ramiz Speaks’ where he also praised Bangladesh.

Currently in Dhaka for commentary duties during the series, Ramiz added, “Both the match and the series slipped out of Pakistan’s hands. Best wishes to Bangladesh. They’ve once again taught Pakistan a lesson—how to bat and bowl on tough wickets.”

Ramiz further stated that Bangladesh did drop a few catches toward the end. “If Faheem Ashraf had gotten out then, Pakistan could have won the match. But they made things very difficult for themselves. Losing five wickets in the first six overs made the chase of 134 runs twice as hard.”

He emphasized that Pakistan must now learn from this defeat and move forward. “Credit must be given to Bangladesh. The stadium was packed, and their confidence was sky-high. Overall, Bangladesh’s performance was very impressive. Pakistan must take lessons from this loss and work on improving in several areas.”
