Bangladesh Cricket Board has appointed new Coach

The batting coach for the Tigers is Hemp, while Adams takes charge of bowling. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has appointed Andre Adams as the bowling coach and David Hemp as the national team’s batting coach. They will start working from the upcoming Sri Lanka series.

Both David Hemp and Andre Adams have previously worked with the high-performance team.

This information has been announced by BCB in a press release on Tuesday. Hemp has been working with the HP team since May last year. He also traveled with the national team to New Zealand. Now he has been officially appointed as the national team’s batting coach.

In addition, the former New Zealand all-rounder Andre Adams has been appointed as the bowling coach. Both of them have been given a two-year contract by BCB.

Hemp is currently coaching at ICC Level 4. He has scored more than 15,000 runs in first-class cricket and has played for teams like Glamorgan and Yorkshire. Hemp has played 24 One Day Internationals for Bermuda. From 2020 to 2022, he was the head coach of the Pakistan women’s team.

Adams has been on the field in 47 matches for New Zealand, across all formats. He has had a coaching career spanning over a decade, working with various teams. Most recently, he was the bowling coach for the New Zealand team during their tour of Pakistan.
