500 Hundreds Ashwin!

After Muralitharan, it was Ashwin’s turn. He could have reached the milestone even before the previous match. However, Ravichandran Ashwin was waiting for his 500th wicket with just one wicket to go.

Today, in Rajkot, in England’s first innings, India’s off-spinner entered the club of 500 wickets in Test cricket. He got his 500th wicket by dismissing Jack Crawley. Crawley tried to sweep but ended up caught outside the leg stump.
